Vibration Analysis:
- Any frequencies up to 20 kHz
- Used for detailed analysis of bearing fault
- Monitor gear mesh frequencies
- Detect normal faults (unbalance, misalignment)
Ultrasound Analysis:
- Any frequencies GREATER than 20 kHz
- Used for early bearing fault warning
- Helpful with lubrication of bearings
- Monitor lubrication between two surfaces
